Steel inverted flare plug for 3/16-inch tube O.D. with a 3/8-24 thread and 0.53-inch length. It is intended for hydraulic brake, power steering, fuel-line, and transmission-cooler applications. The fitting has internally protected seats and threads, compact construction, good vibration life, and a short nut for close tube bends. It is reusable, compatible with flareable copper, brass, aluminum, and steel hydraulic tubing, and has a working pressure of up to 2,000 psi depending on tube size.
