Inverted flare tube nut fitting for 5/16" tube outside diameter, used with copper, brass, aluminum and steel hydraulic tubing that can be flared. Typical applications include hydraulic brake, power steering, fuel lines, transmission cooler lines, and LP and natural gas lines. Sealing method is a 2-piece flare, rated up to 2,000 PSI depending on tube size, with excellent vibration resistance and an operating temperature range of -65°F to +250°F. Available in steel or brass versions; the brass Weatherhead version has 1/2-20 thread with dimensions A: 5/8", B: 5/16", C: 1/2".
