Steel SAE Grade 5 zinc-finish hex cap screw with a 1/2"-13 coarse, partially threaded body and 6" length. It has 120,000 psi tensile strength, conforms to ASME B18.2.1, SAE J429, and ASTM F1941/F1941M, has a 3/4" wrench size, and is supplied without a nut. Fastenal states that hex cap screws are designed for assembly into tapped holes and that zinc plating retards corrosion in a normal atmosphere.
