Welded construction with a varnish coating to protect against oxidation, rated -200°F to 150°F, 300 psi (cold water, oil, or gas), complies with ASTM A-53 and ANSI B36.1, hydrostatically tested. Black steel nipples are used for oil and gas applications only.
